Our Partners and Associates

Mr. Al-Ghunaim is a former Kuwaiti judge who worked in various circuits and disposed of a variety of commercial, civil, summary and administrative cases from the year 2000 to the year 2005. Before becoming a judge he worked as Public Prosecutor from the year 1994 to the year 2000, in which he worked in various departments including public funds and difficult debts. He also worked in the legal department of the Gulf Bank of Kuwait from 1993 to 1994. He is a member Kuwait Bar Association and is admitted to appear before the Constitutional and Cassation Courts.

Mr. Ahmad Saud Al-Humaidhi is a founding partner of GHK Lawyers, with over 20 years of extensive legal experience in commercial litigation and corporate restructuring. He is also a former judge who served in various judicial circuits, handling and ruling on a wide range of commercial, labor, and leasing cases. Mr. Al-Humaidhi has also held the position of Deputy Director of the General Department for the Enforcement of Civil Judgments Prior to his judicial role, Mr. Al-Humaidhi served as a Public Prosecutor from 1991 to 1999, working in several prosecution offices, including the Debt Recovery and Public Funds Prosecution Offices. He also has extensive experience with the Capital Markets Authority, where he oversees the preparation of legal defenses, is well-versed in the Authority's executive regulations, and represents clients in investigations and before the Disciplinary Board. Mr. Al-Humaidhi has strong expertise in mergers and acquisitions, including conducting due diligence and drafting memorandums of understanding and sale and purchase agreements. He also has extensive experience in legal settlements and arbitration in commercial cases. Mr. Ahmad Al-Humaidhi holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the College of Law at Kuwait University.

Reem Al-Khaled is a partner at GHK Lawyers and has extensive expertise in the matters related to Competition Protection Agency and Capital Markets Authority matters, including preparing legal defenses, providing advice on the Authority's executive regulations, and representing clients in investigations and before the Disciplinary Board. She is also well-versed in mergers and acquisitions, handling due diligence, drafting memorandums of understanding, and sale and purchase agreements. Additionally, she brings valuable experience in the construction sector. Prior to joining GHK Lawyers, Al-Khaled was a lawyer at AlTwaijri Law Firm. She was also the Head of the Legal Department in Sidra Hospital (previously known as Omooma Hospital). Mrs. Reem Al-Khaled holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the College of Law, Kuwait University.
