Founding Partner of “Guerra González y Asociados S.C.”. He has over 50 years of legal experience and is recognized as one of the Mexican lawyers with more experience and leadership in litigation in Civil, Commercial and Administrative matters, as well as in handling Insolvency and Bankruptcy Proceedings, Alternative Dispute Resolutions and Constitutional Proceedings.

Jaime R. Guerra González holds a “Master´s Degree in Comparative Law” issued in 1972 by the “Southern Methodist University” campus Dallas, TX, USA. He received his “B.A. in Law” in 1970 from “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)”, campus Mexico City, Mexico.
Author of the book “Apuntes y Comentarios sobre el Derecho Concursal en México” (Notes and Comments on Bankruptcy Law in Mexico), registered in 2001 at IMPI under the number 03-2001-061312031900-01.
He has written numerous articles for press like; Wall Street Journal, Reforma Newspaper, Legal 500 Latin America, Chambers & Partners, Insolvency Law Experts, Experts Guides, CrossBorder Law Group, Practical Law, International Law Office. Some of his articles appear in magazines such as; Forbes, Newsweek, Líderes, Alto Nivel, Mundo del Abogado, among others.
He has been invited by renowned universities to teach “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law”, “Procedural Civil Law”, among others subjects related with litigation law at “Universidad Marista”, “Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C. (ULA)”, “Universidad Intercontinental (UIC)”, among others.

Jesús Treviño Moyeda holds a “Master of Laws (LL.M)” with major in “Fax Law” issued by “Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León”. He received his “B.A. in Law” in 1983 from the same university.
He collaborated as lecturer of “Civil Procedural Law”, “Civil Law”, “General Corporations Law” and “Constitutional Law” from 1985 to 1993 at “Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León”, campus Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.

Alfonso Peniche García is member of Guerra González y Asociados S.C. since 1989 and Partner since 1998.
He has legal experience since 1989 specializing in litigation in Civil, Commercial and Administrative matters, as well as in Insolvency and Restructuring Proceedings, Constitutional Proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolutions.
Co-author since 2001 of several articles published in the “Insolvency Newsletter”from “International Law Office” based in London.
He has been lecturer of “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law” at “Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C.”, as well as at “Centro Universitario México (CUM)”, currently called “Universidad Marista”. At these universities he has taught the following courses; “General Theory of the Process, “ Civil Procedure Law”, “Insolvency & Bankruptcy Proceedings” and “Constitutional Proceedings”.
Alfonso Peniche García holds a post-graduate diplomas in “Civil and Commercial Procedure Law” and in “Constitutional Proceedings (Amparo)”. In 1992 he received his“B.A. in Law” from “Escuela Libre de Derecho” with honors and with a special award given by the “Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México”.

Román Salazar Castillo is member of Guerra González y Asociados S.C. since 1995 and became Partner in 2004.
He has legal experience since 1995 specializing in litigation in Civil, Administrative and Commercial matters, as well as in Insolvency and Restructuring Proceedings, Constitutional Proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolutions.
Co-author since 2001 of numerous articles published in the “Insolvency Newsletter” from the “International Law Office” based in London.
Due to his expertise handling Bankruptcy and Restructuring Proceedings he was invited by the “International Insolvency Institute” to lecture in the “Sixth Anniversary Conference of the International Insolvency Institute”, held in New York City, USA. His talk was entitled “Problems Derived from the Application of the Bankruptcy Law in Mexico.
Román Salazar holds post-graduate diplomas in “International Law” and “Foreign Law and Common Law Issues”. He received his “B.A. in Law” from “Universidad Iberoamericana” campus Mexico City, Mexico.
