Drafting Services
We at HG Afghan Notary Public not only notarize and certify existing documents, but also draft documents such as the power of attorneys, statutory declarations, company resolutions, and similar legal documents. These documents are prepared by a practicing attorney to make sure they are legally correct and tailored to your legal needs.
The amount of fee we charge depends on the type and the number of documents that need drafting.
Legalization Services
In case you need to have your documents legalized or apostilled, HG Afghan Notary Public is able to liaise with the relevant foreign office, embassy, or consulate on your behalf. Most of the documents that need to be notarized are those that lawyers, courts, and government officials often use outside Afghanistan. These lawyers, courts, or government officials often require your documents not only to be notarized but also attested by the relevant foreign office, embassy of the country where the documents will be used, or both. For some countries, a confirmation from a chamber of commerce might also be necessary for commercial legal documents or invoices.
We are able to take on this entire legalization process on your behalf or, we can also advise you how to navigate it yourself, we provide you with options, and respect your choices!
Translation Services
You may have documents that do not necessarily require notarization by an Afghan Notary but may still need a translation. We usually provide notarization services to our clients who need to complete a transaction or a business deal outside Afghanistan and need certain legal documents certified. Since all official documents are usually written in local languages (Pashto and Dari), the use of these documents abroad, require competent translation.
We are happy to provide you with this needed translation service and translate any existing documents you have so they are acceptable to any overseas jurisdictions as required.
Hague Apostille
Under the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, the Apostille Convention, or the Apostille Treaty, it is an official certificate that is added to the back of some document by the foreign office before they can be used abroad. Commonly, it is called the “apostille” though sometimes it is known as the “Hague apostille”. Although Afghanistan is not a member State of the Hague Convention, we can advise you on all aspects of legalization and apostille of your legal documents under the Hague Convention.
Moreover, close business relationship with the Foreign Offices and depending on how fast you need to have your documents certified, we can use their standard and their fast-track routes to obtain apostilles for you.
