Wills and Probate

It is important to make a Will so that your wishes for distribution of your wealth are carried out. Without a Will your assets might be distributed in a way that doesn't accord with your wishes. A clear Will can also prevent costly legal disputes between beneficiaries.

Making your Will is sometimes an involved process. Richard has prepared many Wills and can assist you so that nothing is missed.

Probate of a will after someone has died also needs expertise that he can provide. Richard will, with sensitivity, assist you in both these areas so that they are as stress-free as possible.

Guardianship

The enduring Guardianship document allows you to appoint someone to make non-financial decisions on your behalf if you are unable to do so. This might include decisions about where you will live and what healthcare you will receive.

The appointment of an Enduring Guardian is particularly useful as you get older and may become unable to make decisions. You need to ensure the person you appoint is willing and able to act as your Guardian. You could appoint a close relative, friend or carer to this role.

Richard is experienced in preparing all aspects of this document. He can witness your signature and make sure you understand the document.
