Some estate planning clients require sophisticated trusts and transactions to carry out their goals while other clients require relatively straightforward plans. Ken will prepare a plan to effect a smooth and efficient transfer of property from one generation to the next.  He will help you establish a comprehensive estate and succession plan designed to help you achieve the goals which you have for you and your family.

For example, an irrevocable life insurance trust will allow your heirs to receive life insurance proceeds entirely free of federal estate tax. An irrevocable gift trust will remove assets transferred to such trust (including future appreciation) out of your future taxable estate. We help you to understand your trust design options and establish a management process for administering and ultimately distributing trust assets to your heirs. Ken is also able to assist you in analyzing and implementing strategies regarding various aspects of tax, estate, and trust planning and administration.

Business Law

We also provide advice and counsel concerning the operation of your business, selling or purchasing a business, document retention policies, and contracts. 

We provide a wide variety of services to our business clients, including assisting in selecting the type of organizational entity through which you should operate, negotiating and preparing business agreements, assisting with business succession, negotiating and drafting appropriate documentation related to the sale and purchase of a business, and/or assisting in the dissolution and orderly wind-down of your business. It is our goal to advise business clients on company formation and management, operational issues, tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general business employment and related issues.
