Parish life at Parafia pw. Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Trzcianie centers on regular Masses, the administration of the sacraments, and ongoing catechesis for all ages. The parish office operates after every Mass, and a network of liturgical ministries and parish groups supports worship, education, and charitable activity.
Historically, Trzciana originally belonged to the parish of St. Matthew in Mielec. As the village grew, residents requested the creation of a parish, and in 1959 the parish was erected by Bishop Jan Stepa following the 1958 initiative led by Father Michał Winiarz. The church building, designed by engineer P. Komornicki, was consecrated on 1 October 1961 by Bishop Karol Pękala.
As of 2024 the parish is led by Ks. Bernard Budacz as parish priest, with a history of other pastors including Ks. Andrzej Gadzina, Ks. Stanisław Duszkiewicz, Ks. Władysław Mrówka, Ks. Adam Stanaszek, and Ks. Michał Winiarz. The parish maintains contact channels, a livestream of liturgical celebrations, and a calendar of announcements on its website, reflecting ongoing engagement with parishioners and the wider community.
