The company's history is long, but in recent times (since the Second World War) the company's history has been as follows:
Attorney Christian M. Krag (senior) took over the company from approx. April 1, 1944 after superior court prosecutor Holger Christensen, who was shot in a clearing murder by the Germans on his way to his home on February 3, 1944 in Klintegården.
Christian M. Krag ran the company as a sole proprietorship and was a regular solicitor for the Landbosparekassen in Aarhus, located at Søndergade 44, where the company was also located at the time. For a short period around 1950, Christian M. Krag was in the company with Holger Hansen, but they went their separate ways and Christian M. Krag continued the company alone until his death on 21 April 1965.
Christian M. Krag's son (whose name is Christian Krag) was an apprentice as a clerk at the time and therefore could not officially take over the company from his father. The solution was that from June 1, 1964 - June 1, 1965, prosecutor Troels Hoeck was the company's outside owner, but Christian Krag was unofficially a co-owner. From 1965, when Christian Krag graduated as a lawyer, until 1972, the two ran the company together.
Christian Krag was the sole owner of the company from 1972 to 1979. Lawyer Anders Kirk joined in 1980 and they ran the law firm Krag og Kirk together until 1991, when other lawyers (lawyer John Bjerre Andersen, Torben Winnerskjold, Jørgen U. Grønborg, Michael Thygesen and others) joined the firm, which was renamed the present Advokaterne Sankt Knuds Torv.
In 2009, the company was transformed into a partnership company (P/S) with 7 partners.
In addition, we are a number of experienced employed lawyers, legal secretaries, bookkeeper, receptionist and a team of part-time law students who all work together to solve the challenges we receive from our clients from home and abroad.

The oldest part of the company's history from the time before the Second World War is more unclear - but there have been several predecessors before chief prosecutor Holger Christensen.
From the time of prosecutor Christian M. Krag, the office has a filing cabinet, provided with a silver plate that reads:

So a 25-year anniversary - but the name of the prosecutor has unfortunately been forgotten.
