Appeared and appeared before Lahore High Court regarding whether or not the Family Court has power and jurisdiction to review its decision. (2021 CLC 720) • Representing Daewoo Pakistan regarding a land dispute having an approximate value of Rs. 60,000,000/-. • Assisted a senior partner at CLM in advising Nishat Chunian Power Limited, Nishat Power Limited and other independent power producers (IPPs) in challenging enforcement of a foreign arbitral award before Lahore High Court. • Acted for an electricity transmission company regarding recovery of PKR 826 million (USD 4.9 million) given as fuel advance to an independent power producer (IPP) for purchasing fuel to generate electricity on the basis of an interim arrangement between them. IPP was required to repay the said fuel advance within the stipulated time. Primarily handling the said civil suit before trial court, which is still pending. • Assisted in advising Zameen Media (Private) Limited in a number of employment cases whereby a number of employees from Zameen joined its competing business. • Advised Ms. Fatima Qazilbash against Defence Housing Authority regarding the excessive water bill matter. • Advised Pioneer Sugar Mills (Pvt.) Limited in acquisition of 100% stake in two private limited companies (which were engaged in sugar mills) for PKR 840 million (USD 5 million). Drafted initial version of the plaint for filing a civil suit on behalf of the buyer against the seller seeking specific performance of the said agreement on account of seller’s reluctance to transfer the shares.

Advised and appearing before Lahore High Court for (late) Honourable (R) Mr. Justice Karam Elahee Chauhan’s family against DHA with respect to removing of caution imposed by DHA on their properties. • Advised and appearing before Lahore High Court in a family dispute regarding land measuring 3391 Kanals – 15 Marlas. The matter is around fifty-five (55) years old. • Advised and appearing for several parties before Lahore High Court involving a matter of evacuee trust property measuring 01 Kanal-17 Marla. • Advised Shahid Mahmood and Company (Pvt.) Limited regarding registration/mutation of its factory land.

Before co-establishing MSN & Co., Najam worked in the law chamber of one of the greatest legal minds and arguably the best civil law practitioner of his time (late) Ahmed Waheed Khan sb. He then worked as an Associate (later Senior Associate) with one of the leading law firms in the country Cornelius, Lane & Mufti (CLM) (co-established by former Chief Justice of Pakistan Honourable Mr. Justice A.R. Cornelius). Following his family’s great legacy of lawyers and judges, Najam is the third-generation lawyer in the field. Ahmad is one of the founding members and Partner of MSN & Co. Ahmad focuses on banking and finance, corporate and commercial, tax, and civil service/labour matters. Before joining MSN & Co., he worked as an Associate in the best law firm in the Sultanate of Oman (Al-Busaidy, Mansoor Jamal & Co.). Whilst working in Oman, he has worked in collaboration with leading international law firms (Clifford Chance, Baker McKenzie, Freshfields, Linklaters, Norton Rose Fulbright etc.) for clients from automotive, telecommunication, banking/finance, and IT sectors on a diverse range of issues. Before Oman, Ahmad worked as a Senior Associate in Cornelius, Lane & Mufti (CLM) and, during that time, gained solid experience in litigation whilst simultaneously working on key transactional matters for CLM.
