Lawsuits & Disputes

Dispute resolution and litigation

Disagreements must be resolved in a business-wise manner. For this reason, an expert should be consulted as early as possible in order to assess the situation and find out the different action options.

In general, the best financial solution for the parties is for disputes to be resolved through negotiation and agreement. In settlement negotiations, we take care of our client's interests and make sure that when a settlement is reached, all the necessary aspects are taken into account.

If the matter cannot be resolved through negotiations, the chances of success are also significantly better in court, when the dispute has been prepared well in advance. We have tens of years of experience in disputes related to different legal fields and industries. We handle each trial in such a way that our client's interest is realized in the best possible way.

We have also acted as arbitrators in disputes between companies.

We have supported employers in numerous joint action procedures and other workforce reduction situations.

Bankruptcy & Debt

Recovery of companies, restructuring and bankruptcies

In addition to jurisprudence, business recovery requires business knowledge and knowledge of the rules of the financial system. With feasible measures, the business will be profitable again. The prerequisite for success is creating a relationship of trust with creditors and potential new financiers.

The recovery plan includes business analysis and the implementation of corrective measures. In addition to this, debts have to be arranged. In addition to the financial structure, the areas to be clarified are the production process, product selection, business areas, management system and marketing.

Salvation can be carried out by negotiating with the main creditors or, alternatively, in a corporate restructuring procedure in which all creditors participate.

If the business can no longer be recovered, even in bankruptcy it is possible to minimize the damage to creditors and the entrepreneur. Prolonging the bankruptcy increases creditors' losses and can cause operators to be liable for compensation. An experienced administrator will determine the most appropriate method of liquidation. For example, completing unfinished projects accumulates funds in the bankruptcy estate. Alternatively, the business can be sold as a functioning entity, in which case jobs can be preserved.

Since the 1990s, we have acted as receivers in bankruptcies and liquidators in restructuring procedures, and handled assignments related to the voluntary recovery of companies.
