Rosas & Asociados is a Guadalajara-based Mexican law firm providing legal counsel in corporate, commercial (mercantile), civil, real estate, administrative, and dispute resolution matters across Jalisco and throughout Mexico. Our practice is designed for clients who require legally robust documentation, risk-controlled transactions, and effective enforcement of rights and obligations.

A defining feature of the firm is our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) orientation. We pursue negotiation and mediation as a first-line pathway to resolve disputes efficiently and to secure clear, enforceable settlements. Where settlement is not viable, we represent clients in civil and commercial litigation, including interim measures where appropriate, evidentiary strategy, procedural management, and appellate work.

Our core capabilities include, among others:

• Corporate & Commercial (Mercantile): entity formation and structuring (e.g., S.A. de C.V., S. de R.L. de C.V.), corporate governance and resolutions, shareholders/partners arrangements, commercial contracting (services, supply, distribution, NDAs), compliance-oriented legal housekeeping, and transaction support.

• Debt Recovery / Collections: pre-litigation strategy, formal demand notices, negotiation of payment plans and settlement agreements, enforcement of payment instruments (including promissory notes), recovery of overdue receivables, and judicial collection proceedings when required.

• Civil & Commercial Litigation: breach of contract, damages, enforcement of obligations, collections, and related proceedings, with a documentation-driven approach to pleadings and evidence.

• Real Estate: acquisition and sale support, lease drafting and negotiation (residential and commercial), real estate due diligence, transactional risk review, and coordination of closing documentation.

• Administrative Matters: legal strategy and written submissions in interactions with authorities, compliance positioning, and management of administrative procedures connected to business and property operations.

• Media, Technology & Digital Commerce: e-commerce terms and conditions, consumer-facing documentation, advertising/marketing legal review, privacy notices and data protection documentation, technology transactions (SaaS, licensing, IT services), and outsourcing agreements.

• Intellectual Property: trademark strategy and portfolio support, copyright documentation and licensing; for patents requiring technical drafting, we coordinate with qualified specialists as needed.

We are not a notary public office. Nevertheless, we maintain trusted alliances with multiple notary offices to coordinate notarizations, powers of attorney, corporate instruments, and transactional formalities, including filings with the relevant registries.

The firm does not provide criminal defence. Where a matter involves criminal exposure, we refer that component to trusted third-party criminal counsel, while continuing to handle the related civil, commercial, family, or administrative track as applicable.
