Senet was established in early 2014 by a team led by Michael Gaveh, an experienced corporate lawyer in Ghana. Michael is a former Partner at Oxford & Beaumont Solicitors (now ENS Africa), where he was the head of the Finance and Projects team. Before then, he had previously worked with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah and as in-house counsel for the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC). He had also served as an adjunct lecturer at the Central University College.
Michael has a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in foreign direct investment, international trade and environment from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Michael has been named as a “Rising Star” by the prestigious international legal directory, ILFER 1000 for the years 2013 and 2014.

Understanding the pivotal role played by government agencies involved in the industry, we have developed very productive relationships with these agencies to facilitate smooth transactional process.
We understand the legal, business, and professional implications of entering and exiting employment and partnership agreements of all kinds. Our team has expertise to provide advice in respect of Ghana’s labour regime, negotiating and drafting of different kinds of employment contracts.
