Senet was established in early 2014 by a team led by Michael Gaveh, an experienced corporate lawyer in Ghana. Michael is a former Partner at Oxford & Beaumont Solicitors (now ENS Africa), where he was the head of the Finance and Projects team. Before then, he had previously worked with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah and as in-house counsel for the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC). He had also served as an adjunct lecturer at the Central University College.
Michael has a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in foreign direct investment, international trade and environment from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Michael has been named as a “Rising Star” by the prestigious international legal directory, ILFER 1000 for the years 2013 and 2014.
