Dr. Emad-Edden Hosen is a distinguished legal scholar with a robust academic background and extensive experience in legal education in Libya. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Almergib and pursued a Master’s degree in civil law from the University of Tripoli, graduating in 2008. Driven by a passion for teaching, Dr. Hosen further enhanced his skills at Nottingham Trent University, obtaining an ETTIHE certification in 2016.
Dr. Hosen's academic journey culminated with a Ph.D. from Nottingham Law School in 2020. His groundbreaking thesis, “A Review of the Libyan Insolvency and Restructuring Laws Informed by Insolvency Law Theory and International Benchmarks,” highlighted his expertise in commercial law. The thesis, which passed without corrections, underscores his exceptional analytical abilities and scholarly excellence.
Dr. Hosen’s areas of practice include Civil Law, Creditors' Rights, Bankruptcy & Liquidation, Property Law & Security Transactions, Corporate Law, and Labour Law, reflecting his comprehensive expertise in these critical legal fields.
