Serene Tan is the Co-Founding Partner of Tay Chambers’ Puchong branch, the firm’s first branch in Klang Valley.
As a legal practitioner who specializes in real estate transactions and property finance transactions, Serene’s passion lies in navigating the intricate legal landscape to facilitate seamless real estate transactions while ensuring regulatory and financial compliance. She possesses a deep understanding in conveyancing practice and regularly advises clients on a diverse range of real estate matters including acquisitions of properties and lands, leasing, strata planning, property management and development and joint ventures. She also has extensive experience in handling consumer, corporate, commercial and SME banking for various financial institutions. Her clients encompass individuals, companies, financial institutions, real estate developers and real estate agencies.
At Tay Chambers, Serene focuses primarily on Conveyancing practice and Corporate Advisory. She also offers advice in other practice areas such as will writing, probate and estate administration and divorce matters. Recently, she represented several homeowners from Klang Valley in High Court and successfully obtained court orders to convert their properties from leasehold to freehold ownership.
