Unionen Dalarna

Unionen Dalarna is the regional arm of Unionen, representing workers across Dalarnas län plus Fagersta and Norbergs kommuner, with approximately 13,000 members. The regional office is located in central Borlänge, and the region is governed by a regional council and a regionstyrelse formed by elected representatives.

Unionen Dalarna provides specialized member services through facklig rådgivning on wages, membership, pay, working environment, forming a workplace club, and becoming a trusted representative, and it supports forhandlingsframställan to initiate negotiations with employers to address workplace issues.

Unionen Dalarnas governance comprises a regionstyrelse and a regionråd, and the 2024 annual report shows 13,010 members (2024), 10,009 with collective agreements, 69 clubs, and 1 007 locally elected union representatives, illustrating a robust regional network that enables active member participation and effective representation.
