Where We’ve Been
Originally founded in 1962 in Jackson, Miss., by James Leon Young and his father, J. Will Young, Young Wells began as Young and Young. Today, over 58 years later, we are known as YoungWells, and we operate out of our primary office in The Township in Ridgeland. Though our name and original location has changed over the years, our commitment to our clients and the way we conduct business ethically remains the same. Let us show you.

Probate is the legal process by which an individual’s debts are paid and his assets are distributed to his heirs upon her or his death. Our probate attorneys assist estate executors and administrators to properly administer estates. Depending on the size of the estate, this process may take years to complete and must comply with state and federal tax laws, and our attorneys have knowledge in this area to ensure properly distributed assets.
Our trusts and estates practice ranges from providing simple wills for individuals to estate planning for wealthy individuals with extensive business and personal assets.
