It was February 2000 when Flori Zambrano, founder of Z&A, and five of her former classmates from law school, decided to open the firm in an office on the third floor of Edificio Multicomercio, a  strategically  located building in downtown Portoviejo, half a block from the Manabí Court House.

Family, civil and labor laws were part of our practice for many years. Corporation, real estate and immigration laws were very soon added to our portfolio of services and became our main areas of practice. We have served hundreds of clients in these areas, becoming one of the most reputable law firms working with the expat community in Manabí and Ecuador.

Prestigious judges, District Attorneys and very well-known independent attorneys initiated their legal career in our firm. In the past few years, Z&A has selectively added a “new generation” of attorneys to ensure continuity in every aspect of the legal practice. We have also been honored to work together with well known law firms from Quito and Guayaquil such as Espinosa Prado,  Puente & Asociados, and Suquilanda Law Firm.

We are thankful to continue providing our legal assistance to the expat community in Manabí after all these years, and we are committed to continue helping them to achieve their dreams in our beautiful country.
