Do I need to register as a lobbyist in Chile if I meet ministers to discuss [company removed]’s permit?

I’m a manager at a mining services firm and I sometimes meet with ministry officials about permits and regulatory changes. I’m not paid to lobby, but it’s part of my job. I want to know if this triggers registration, reporting, or gift rules under Chilean law.

Hi. Any meeting with certain authorities must be registered on the Lobby Law website. Every authority is required to record these meetings, and they do so. The fact that you are not being paid for the meeting as a lobbyist does not exclude the obligation to report it
