Can I refuse arbitration in Germany if the contract clause was in small print online?

I signed up for an online service and later noticed a binding arbitration clause hidden in the terms. Now there’s a billing dispute and they insist on arbitration instead of court. Do I have any options to challenge the clause or choose mediation instead?
