I'm part of a large group of mobile users charged a hidden monthly service fee by our provider. We want to know if a class action is possible under Indonesian law, how a representative plaintiff would be chosen, and what evidence is needed to prove common harm.

Dear Client\n\nWe inform that class actions are expressly recognized under Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2002 concerning Class Action Procedures. One of the key requirements for a class representative is that they must have the status of a victim or a party who has suffered direct harm.\n\nFurthermore, several evidentiary requirements must be fulfilled, including, among others, that the claims submitted are uniform in nature and that there is clear and sufficient evidence demonstrating the individuals’ status as members of the class.\n\nWe trust that the above provides a clear and concise overview for your consideration. Thank you.
