We are concerned about your marital situation.

Before you file for divorce in court, make sure you have the following:

  • Prepare a brief chronology of events;

  • Prepare your marriage documents, including your marriage agreement (if any);

  • Proof of purchase of assets (both cars and houses/apartments)

  • Discuss your plans with your spouse and try to put them in writing if you agree to divorce.

  • Consult with your trusted lawyer regarding the technicalities of filing for divorce and the division of joint property (if applicable).

Dear Client,

Thank you for your question.

We understand that if you are currently undergoing a divorce, a lawful and valid divorce must be processed through the court and supported by sufficient legal grounds. The transfer of assets to your wife is permissible as long as it is clearly defined, carried out voluntarily, and subsequently documented and acknowledged in the court’s decision.

Regarding the transfer of the company to your wife’s former business partner, further clarification is required specifically, whether the company constitutes marital property and whether your wife holds any share ownership in the company.

We hope this information is sufficient.
