Can I sue a supplier in Israel for breach of contract when they failed to deliver goods on time?

We signed a fixed delivery date contract with a supplier in Tel Aviv. They delivered late, causing financial losses for our business, and the contract includes penalty clauses. I'm unsure how to pursue breach of contract in Israeli courts, what remedies exist, and what the timeline and costs would be.

It is possible, where a contract has been duly executed between the parties, to proceed under Israeli contract law. A delay in delivery may constitute a breach of contract, giving rise to a claim for compensation for the damages caused, and in appropriate cases also to agreed damages, as provided in the agreement.

The scope of the available remedies depends on the wording of the contract, the nature of the breach, and the surrounding circumstances. We would be pleased to assist in reviewing the agreement and advising on the legal options available to you.
