If your wife threats your life, it can be a ground to file for divorce. Section 15 of the Matrimonial Causes Act outlines several grounds upon which a person can bring a petition for dissolution of marriage, one of which is that the Respondent (your wife in this case) has conducted herself in the manner that you are not reasonably expected to contnue to live with her.
If she is threatening your life, then she is conducting herself in manner that you are not reasonably expected to continue to live with her.
