Yes, you absolutely have the legal right to claim all pre- and post-delivery expenses from your husband.
Under the law, a husband is responsible not only for the wife’s maintenance during pregnancy and childbirth but also for the future maintenance of the child and the mother, even after divorce.

If your husband is refusing to communicate or provide financial support, we can initiate strong legal action to compel him to fulfill his obligations including options such as issuance of a warrant of arrest, blocking of CNIC, and other legal remedies.

I can assist you in taking the proper legal steps to secure your rights and ensure you and your child are not left without support.

LEGAL CONSULTATION OFFER – FAMILY, DIVORCE & CHILD SUPPORT

Dear Madam,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your situation. Based on the facts you shared, please find below the legal position and support we can offer:

✅ Legal Position:

Father’s Name on Baby’s Documents:

  • As per Pakistani law, if the child is born during a valid marriage, the father’s name will automatically appear on the birth certificate, B-form (NADRA), and other official documents.
  • If your husband tries to deny paternity, we can file a suit for declaration to confirm the father-child relationship legally.

Divorce (Khula):

  • You have the right to file for Khula (judicial divorce) if your husband has abandoned you, is not providing maintenance, or is emotionally or financially neglectful.
  • The court will issue him notices at his address in the United Kingdom. If he fails to respond, the court may proceed ex-parte.

Child Support & Maternity Expenses:

  • After the baby is born, you are entitled to child maintenance from your husband, regardless of whether he resides in Pakistan or abroad.
