My ex husband divorced me under sharia Law and I am not a muslim. What process should I do to nullify my marriage. Our marriage certificate is already annotated with the divorce but I am a non muslim. I have new marriage but the embassy of the hongkong does not want to register my marriage because she said I am not a muslim and the sharia divorce can't work for me. Please advice

Dear Mam!

get decree from the local court by filing declaratory suit that the divorce given is the valid one.
