Regarding Golden Visa

In United Arab Emirates
Last Updated: Jul 22, 2024
I want to come in sponsor of my son who is doctor in Dubai having golden visa.
He want to apply for me of golden visa.
I have my own company in dubai and living with my children as my husband is 84 years old and having health issues and he is living in pakistan. As I heard that if I need to apply golden visa then both parents should apply together. In my case as my husband is having health issues and not living in UAE
So should I need NOC from my husband ?
If yes then can he send me NOC by email or how ?

If your son has a Golden Visa, he may sponsor his parents — but requirements can vary depending on family status and documentation. If only one parent is applying, authorities may request supporting documents or consent, especially if the other spouse is not applying. Yes, a Golden Visa holder can sponsor their parents in the UAE, and both parents are normally sponsored together. However, exceptions may be granted when one parent cannot travel due to health or personal circumstances. In your situation, since your husband is elderly, unwell, and residing in Pakistan, immigration authorities may allow you to be sponsored alone if proper justification is provided. Is an NOC from your husband required? Authorities may request a No Objection Certificate (NOC) confirming he has no objection to you being sponsored and residing in the UAE. How the NOC should be prepared: Written declaration signed by your husband; Copy of his passport attached; Attestation by a notary public in Pakistan; UAE Embassy attestation in Pakistan and MOFA attestation in the UAE (if requested). An emailed letter alone is usually not sufficient unless later legalized. Additional documents that may be required: Medical reports supporting his inability to travel; Proof of your son's Golden Visa and income; Proof of relationship (birth certificate); Your Emirates ID and residency documents. Each application is reviewed case by case, but humanitarian considerations are often taken into account.
