Hello,

I am sorry to hear about this distressing situation. Being falsely accused of such unsanitary acts in front of your neighbors and colleagues is not only humiliating but can indeed damage your professional reputation.

Based on your description, this falls under the category of defamation (specifically "slander," as it was spoken). To build a strong case or stop him effectively, you need to act strategically before filing a lawsuit:

Document Evidence: Since he shouted in front of people, you have witnesses. Immediately write down the names of anyone who heard him and the exact date/time.

Cease and Desist Letter: Before jumping to an expensive court case, the standard legal first step is sending a formal "Cease and Desist" letter. This warns him that his statements are false, damaging, and actionable by law if he continues.

Proof of Damage: You mentioned a negative impact on your work. Keep a record of any financial loss or professional issues caused by his outbursts, as this is crucial for a defamation claim.

I am a legal consultant specializing in dispute resolution. Since I operate remotely, I can assist you in drafting the necessary legal notices and guiding you through the pre-action protocol for a fraction of the cost of a local law firm.

If you would like to discuss your options and get a plan of action, feel free to message me on WhatsApp for a low-cost consultation.
