Samvād: Partners is a full-service Indian law firm with offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. Samvad coalesced from a merger of regional practices in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai and expanded to a full-service corporate law firm, with offices in New Delhi and Hyderabad. The Firm has grown steadily over the years to more than 120 lawyers and staff.

The Firm specialises in corporate and commercial dispute resolution services including pre-litigation strategy, interim relief processes, settlement negotiation assistance, regional and domestic arbitrations (institutional and ad hoc), and arbitral award enforcement.
The Firm practice is centred on statutory compliance advice, structuring agreements (including employment, termination and exit settlement agreements) and appearing before courts and tribunals. We specialise in cases of employee misconduct (including harassment and differential treatment).
The Firm’s general corporate advisory practice is targeted at providing end-to end support to its clients right from incorporating their company, structuring business models, regulatory and legal compliance (with employment and property laws) and statutory filings to setting up subsidiaries, obtaining regulatory approvals and negotiating commercial contracts and leases. At each stage, we assist clients in identifying and minimizing legal risks and liability and keep them up-to-date on regulatory developments that may impact their business.
The Firm also routinely advises clients on a broad spectrum of issues arising out of export control regulations and related compliance.
The Firm represents creditors and debtors in insolvency proceedings, assists with structuring and executing out-of-court and corporate restructuring, distressed M&A sales and provides general advice on the new insolvency and bankruptcy code (IBC). Our insolvency practice is complemented by a strong banking and finance practice.
The Firm is well positioned to provide strategic advice on IP development, protection, licensing as well as litigation (including trademarks and patent prosecution) in all forums. We have a robust team and network of technical/scientific resources to support the practice area.
Our offering in the real estate sector includes:
title review and providing legal opinions;
advice on regulatory issues affecting real estate projects; and
structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of documentation (including EPC contracts, O&M contracts, and joint operating agreements).
We have represented clients on real estate matters involving commercial (offices, shopping malls, restaurants among others), residential, educational, agricultural and factory spaces.
