A recent study by the International Bar Association (IBA) reveals that nearly half of lawyers support the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the legal sector. The study highlights the growing awareness of AI’s impact on the profession, with many attorneys citing concerns over ethical implications, accuracy, and the potential for job displacement. 

Lawyers agree that establishing clear regulatory frameworks could mitigate risks while allowing AI’s benefits to flourish, such as improved efficiency and reduced costs in legal processes.
