Registering a trademark gives the company the exclusive right to prevent third parties from marketing identical or similar products.

The services we offer at FQ & ASOCIADOS to register a brand and/or logo are the following:

• Search for registration records: Check that there is no similar trademark that is already registered to avoid oppositions.
  To do this, a brand viability report is prepared and if it is positive, the processing can continue.
• Compilation of documentation to submit the application at the company headquarters and payment of official fees.
• Monitoring of the file before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office until its granting. The process lasts 8 to 15 months.
• Communication to the company of the publication in the Official Bulletin of Industrial Property (BOPI).
• Communication of the concession or report in case of oppositions. In the supposed case of oppositions, we are responsible for making the appropriate allegations to correct them.
• Delivery of the official Title issued by the OEPM.
• Renewal notice (The title is valid for 10 years from the date of application submission)
