Can I cancel a Norwegian gym membership early due to injury without paying the remaining fees?

I signed a 12‑month membership contract in Oslo, but I’ve had a documented injury and my doctor advised me to stop training. The gym says I must keep paying until the term ends unless I pay a cancellation charge. Do Norwegian contract rules allow termination in this situation?
