The Cyprus Bar Association is the regulatory and professional body representing over 4300 practicing advocates in Cyprus. Established in 1955 under the Advocates Law Chapter 2, the CBA has functioned as a cornerstone of the Cypriot legal system, upholding the independence of the profession, maintaining high professional standards, and supporting its members through education, ethics guidance, and practical resources.

In terms of client service, the CBA delivers practical support to both the public and practitioners. It provides access to CyLaw for free daily legal information, supports six Local Bar Associations across six districts, and offers resources for registration, renewals, and professional indemnity insurance to advocates, thereby helping ensure efficient, ethical representation for clients throughout Cyprus.
