Thank you for your question. A foreigner is permitted to own a building, but not land. Therefore, you need to make sure that you secure ownership of the house to be built in your name. Dear sir, thank you for the question. You can either set up a company to own the land, where you are a director and shareholder of said company, or you can have a long-term lease for the property from your future brother-in-law to you. Yes, you can own the house, but without having something else set up so that you have some sort of legal arrangement to access and use the land, you would not be 100% protected.
