Is 2 to 3 months enough for a divorce to process

Can I file for a divorce on grounds of fertility negligence, and my husband says he doesn't want to have children with me? Bullying by his brother? Accusations of his brother's child dying because of my prayers? Saying he was lured into marrying me?

Good day to you. I would say that 2-3 months is most unlikely to conclude divorce proceeding in most circumstances but it may be possible depending on the kind of marriage celebrated and level of contention. Marriages like traditional and Muslim marriage could be easily dissolved within the said months because there may not be need to go through the rigours of court proceedings. On the other hand, a statutory marriage would normally entail the rigours of court processes which would take more time coupled with the level of contentions between parties on issues like sharing of properties, child maintenance, child custody (in case of minor) etc.

You can successfully sustain a divorce suit on the grounds you stated. However, 2 to 3 months is not enough for the divorce suit to be concluded in court. It will take at least six months for the divorce to be concluded if your partner is not contesting the suit. If your partner is contesting the suit, it will take like a year, or even more to conclude the suit in court. Thank you.
