Gyanu Thapa

Gyanu holds the position of an associate at the firm. She is working in corporate and litigation sector. She has assisted clients in labor law, family and property law, corporate litigation, legal opinions and corporate compliances. She also assists in drafting agreement, court cases, other regulatory and compliance documents.

Gyanu's recent works include advising and assisting:

• A Nepalese company in relation to representation of case of direct selling.
• A Singapore based company having foreign investment in Nepal in relation to Compulsory Liquidation.
• Drafting and negotiating various agreements such as service agreements, lease agreements, project financing agreements and exclusive agency agreements.
• Represented Indian FDI company for the recovery of debts in Nepal.
• Conducting due diligence for Chinese company for the  hydropower project acquisition.
• Dealt with the termination process of labor within the company.
• Conducting research on the World Bank Group's Business Ready (B-READY) project.
• Drafting company incorporation and corporate compliance documents.
• Advise on market entry of various FDI Companies in Nepal including the companies of UK, USA, Korea, Japan etc.
