Nora Matei

Nora is a qualified Romanian lawyer with extensive involvement in the legal field both locally and internationally since 2005. She is one of the founding partners of BMA Legal – Bogoiu, Matei & Associates.

She has obtained a long-standing and meaningful experience having spent a considerable amount of time being involved in the day-to-day legal challenges faced by both local and foreign businesses and helping them to remain compliant with the local laws, either from corporate, fiscal or labour perspective.

Her legal expertise covers areas such as employment, immigration, civil and commercial law with a focus on international aspects and challenges. She is no stranger to Data Protection as well as the IT industry assisting several important players in this field organizing and conducting their business.

Based on her internationally focused and oriented experience, she often supplies expert opinions on Romanian law and practice for the use of foreign courts, law firms or private companies or individuals. Nonetheless, she aims to constantly continue her professional development so that she can better assist and advise her clients as needed and required. 

She is a member of the Bucharest Bar and is also registered and listed on the Foreign Lawyers List of the Northern Ireland Law Society.

She is fluent in both Romanian and English.
