We value a lean and efficient cost structure and are happy to pass on the cost savings that we achieve thanks to our office organization to our clients. In deviation from the fees of the Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG), which we believe are outdated, we usually agree an hourly fee with our clients that is appropriate to the degree of difficulty and the effort of the respective mandate and is in fair proportion to the desired result. We calculate the expected scope of an order in advance and, if desired, make a framework agreement that sets an upper cost limit. In some cases, we also agree on flat-rate fees for certain projects. As a law firm specializing in commercial law, we mostly advise small and medium-sized companies and start-ups, for example from the IT, Internet, event and hotel sectors, but also artists and agencies from the fields of film, design and music.
Our offer includes corporate law advice when choosing the legal form of start-ups: partnership (e.g. GbR, KG, GmbH & KG & Co KG) or corporation (e.g. GmbH, UG, AG) including aspects of start-up financing (equity/external financing, venture Capital), drafting of articles of association, preparation of shareholder and general meetings and advice on liability issues.
We are interested in long-term and trusting cooperation with our clients and see ourselves as their "outsourced legal department". We offer support in drafting and negotiating the contracts required in day-to-day business, such as project and development contracts or service level agreements in the IT/software and Internet areas or production, distribution and license agreements for film, design and music.
Purchase and commercial agency agreements (distribution/agency agreements), in particular with international contractual partners, are just as much a part of our service as the creation of legally secure general terms and conditions.
Our clients appreciate being able to come to us at any time with "a brief legal question" and always receive quick yet reliable answers - even if the question is often more complex than initially assumed.
