Al An E. Genoso

Al An E. Geñoso has been in practice for 15 years. He used to be a Corporate Attorney and litigator in Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) and has been well-trained in energy law practice. In his stint with PSALM, he appeared before the Energy Regulatory Commission and appeared before various courts in Metro Manila for energy-related cases against big companies in the Philippines. He continues to appear for PSALM as independent contractor counsel for cases in Marawi City. He is also very knowledgeable with government bidding (procurement and disposal) procedures due to his exposure as a member of the Technical Working Group in various bidding jobs in PSALM, especially his experience in the crafting of the privatization procedures for PSALM generating assets. Likewise, Al has had litigation experience in various quasi-judicial or administrative agencies such as the CSC, COA, NCIP, and Office of the Ombudsman.
