Rene Gutierrez

Lawyer

Rene always knew he wanted to be a lawyer. With a strong passion for justice and a commitment to helping others, he set sights on a legal career early on and worked hard to make it a reality. With an undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from California State University, Northridge, Rene obtained his law degree (J.D.) from Southwestern Law School. During law school, Rene was an active member of the Public Interest Law Committee (PILC), where he gained hands-on experience providing pro bono legal work for government agencies. This early exposure to public service strengthened his determination to use the law to make a difference.

Rene also has litigation experience and is comfortable handling cases confidently and skillfully in the courtroom. In personal injury law, not every case settles with a quick negotiation. When insurance companies refuse to pay what’s fair, litigation becomes essential. Rene has extensive courtroom experience and understands the ins and outs of trial law. He is confident before a judge and jury, prepared to present compelling arguments, and ready to challenge insurance companies that try to minimize or deny claims.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rene takes pride in serving his community inside and outside the courtroom. When he’s not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
