Ahmed Abdulla

Ahamad Abdulla is attorney at law and managing partner of DLO.M.E. He has 27 years of experience in the law as a lawyer in Iraq and in KRG, especially practical experience in courts and litigation in civil, criminal and family cases, and has full knowledge of laws and legislation in Iraq and KRG.

Experiences.

• Secretary of Kurdistan Bar association from 2010- 2014.
• Member of Kurdistan Bar Association and the official of the media department and editor of (parezar) lawyer's magazine.
• Member of the committee assesses the legal research of lawyers and advisers in the lawyers if the Kurdistan Region.
• Vice President of Kurdistan the Union of jurists.
• Legal Consultant at the Ministry of defense KRG (peshmerga) from 1992-1996.
• A member of UIA conferences; 2008 in Bucharest/Romania, 2009 Seville/Spain, 2010 Istanbul/Turkey and in 2011 in Miami/USA.
• Director of weekly newspaper Hazry yasai (Legal newspaper) 2004-2006.
• Preparing legal practicing law number 17 in 1999, and pension law number 18 on the same year.
• A member of the organization to prepare the foundations and instructions of his profession, which has been ratified by the Bar Association.
• Supervisor of the first conference was the develop his profession lawyers for the year 2009 lawyers for Iraq and the Region, which was organized by the Provincial Reconstruction and the American Embassy.
