Before joining our firm, Makau honed his skills as a Senior Associate at Mboya Wang’ongu & Waiyaki Advocates. During his tenure there, he amassed a vast range of experiences, particularly in the field of corporate and commercial law. His expertise is notably diverse, encompassing areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and joint ventures, as well as the complex processes of winding up and receiverships.

Makau's proficiency in drafting and reviewing a wide array of commercial agreements is exceptional. He skillfully handles agreements relating to the provision of goods and services, licensing, distribution, non-disclosure, asset and share sale agreements, and transfer of business undertakings.
