Quek Liuyong

Liuyong is an Associate of the firm and an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He firmly believes that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. He feels that this applies with equal force to legal matters and a lawyer's job is to simplify the law for clients. It is therefore common for Liuyong to offer his clients more cost-effective solutions than the one they originally had in mind. It is also not uncommon for Liuyong to advise his clients not to pursue a matter if he truly does not see any benefit in doing so.

While Liuyong enjoys assisting clients in commercial dispute resolutions, he is equally comfortable with handling general corporate matters / bankruptcy / family matters (including divorce, wills, probate, adoption and deputyship) / criminal matters.

Other than English, Liuyong is able to converse in Chinese, Hokkien and Cantonese. Liuyong also has an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business and is able to advise on corporate secretarial matters.
