Agha Jawed Khan is a Senior Associate at Legum and an Advocate of the High Courts enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council. With over a decade of standing at the Bar, he maintains a broad litigation practice spanning criminal defence, civil and commercial disputes, and complex property litigation. He represents clients before courts and tribunals in Karachi as well as in other jurisdictions across Pakistan.


In his criminal defence practice, Mr. Khan advises and represents clients at all stages of proceedings, including bail applications, trial advocacy, appellate work, and constitutional petitions arising from criminal matters. He combines procedural command with strategic case management, ensuring that clients’ rights are rigorously protected throughout the litigation process.


Mr. Khan also handles a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, including contractual claims, recovery suits, injunction proceedings, and business-related litigation. He regularly appears before Civil Courts, Sessions Courts, Special Courts, and High Courts, developing comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to the complexity and commercial sensitivity of each matter.


His property litigation practice includes title disputes, partition matters, possession and dispossession claims, landlord–tenant disputes, and challenges arising from real estate transactions. He advises individuals, developers, and commercial entities in safeguarding proprietary interests and resolving contentious land and asset-related issues.


As an Advocate of the High Courts, Mr. Khan has rights of audience before all High Courts, subordinate courts, and tribunals across Pakistan. Known for his composed courtroom presence and disciplined advocacy style, he brings measured judgment and practical insight to high-stakes litigation.
