Partner, Head of Tax
Alvaro holds degrees in Law and in Finance and Accounting from the University of Seville (US), with further studies at the Universidad Autónoma del Caribe (Colombia).
Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree in Business Tax Consultancy (LL.M.), a Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession, and an MBA module from the Instituto de Empresa (IE).
Before joining Necker as a partner and head of tax, Álvaro gained experience at a number of high-profile national and international firms.
He is a specialist in national and international taxation. His experience includes providing recurrent tax advice to companies and large estates, tax planning for corporate structures and their economic flows, as well as restructuring operations and the sale and purchase of companies or assets (M&A), and the legal management of tax proceedings.
