The roots of the law can be traced back to 1969, when Ragnar Aðalsteinsson founded his law firm. The co-owners of Ragnar í Rétti are Sigurður Örn Hilmarsson, Sigrún Ingibjörg Gísladóttir, Védís Eva Guðmundsdóttir and Kári Hólmar Ragnarsson. Ever since the institution was founded, emphasis has been placed on the advancement of the law with the ideal of human dignity as a guiding light, and the Law thus provides people and associations with comprehensive services in the pursuit and defense of their rights.
