Fahima was called to the Bar of England and Wales from the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK in 2014 following successful completion of Bar Professional Training Course from the City University London (now City, University of London), UK. Prior to that, Fahima obtained her LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of London in 2012. She also obtained her LLM in Professional Legal Skills from the City University London (now City, University of London), UK in 2015.
Fahima gained considerable experience in working on corporate and foreign investment matters while working with a reputed law firm namely, Amir&Amir Law Associates, Dhaka in 2013-14. She also gained extensive work experience in corporate, Banking & Financial matters while working for Premier Bank Limited and Mercantile Bank Limited as Legal Officer for 4 years.
Fahima is enrolled with Bangladesh Bar Council as an Advocate and a regular member of Dhaka Bar Association.
Fahima gained considerable experience in working on corporate and foreign investment matters while working with a reputed law firm namely Amir & Amir Associates, Dhaka in 2013-15. She also gained extensive work experience in corporate, Banking & Financial matters while working for Premier Bank Limited and Mercantile Bank Limited as Executive Officer (Legal) for 8 years.
Fahima also gained experience as researcher during her association with Daffodil International University as Research Associates.
In Chambers, Fahima regularly provides legal opinion on matters relating to telecommunication, intellectual property, Employment, insurance, company law, corporate and regulatory matters, Real Estate & Property, matrimonial issues, drafts legal notices and reply, drafts & vets agreements, and provides corporate secretarial services to corporate clients. She assists with conducting due diligence, FDI & Company set up/Branch and/or representative office set up in Bangladesh and also carry out research & draft various petitions on Writ, Corporate, VAT, Custom, Taxation, Criminal matters etc.
