Fahima Binte Kamrul is a seasoned legal professional and Partner at The Legal Era, with extensive expertise in corporate law, banking and finance, foreign investment, and regulatory matters. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2014, after completing her Bar Professional Training Course and LLM in Professional Legal Skills from City, University of London.
Fahima began her legal career with Amir & Amir Law Associates, where she gained hands-on experience in corporate and foreign investment matters. She later held key legal positions at Premier Bank Limited and Mercantile Bank Limited, building a strong foundation in banking, finance, and corporate compliance over eight years.
Her practice at The Legal Era spans a wide range of legal areas, including telecommunications, employment law, intellectual property, insurance, real estate, and family matters. She regularly advises both local and international clients on regulatory compliance, company formation, branch/liaison office setup, and foreign direct investment (FDI).
In addition to drafting legal notices, agreements, and corporate documentation, she is actively involved in legal research, writ petitions, corporate litigation, VAT, customs, and taxation issues. Fahima is enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council and is a regular member of the Dhaka Bar Association.
