Lawsuits & Disputes
LITIGATION & MEDIATION
Some situations require legal procedures to protect your interests or demand some agreements that could be broken for third parties. Our legal Firm offers assistance and advice on litigation and mediation services in all major areas of practice. Please feel free to contact us for more information and advice about what would be the best action to be taken.
An improperly executed agreement is the biggest cause of litigation and/or loss of investment in Mexico. The best advice we give our clients it to make sure their agreement takes into consideration the legal aspects of the business at hand. Too many times foreigners sign agreements in Spanish without fully understand the legal implications of what they are signing. When this happens, the outcome of the agreements is often not favorable to the client. Our bilingual team will ensure you totally understand what you are entering to.
We recommend that any time you sign an agreement in a foreign country you understand the intent of the agreement as well as the legal ramifications of the entire agreement.
Mediation may be the best way to solve a dispute. Compared to a lawsuit, mediation is quick, private, fair and less expensive. And, if your dispute is with someone that you will need (or want) to deal with in the future — such as an employer, landlord, neighbor, or partner — mediation will help you resolve your disagreement without destroying your relationship
