Certificate of Finality

In Philippines
Last Updated: Mar 29, 2024

Hi. I am asking for help from our prestige annulment lawyers in the Philippines. I filed the annulment in 2017 and In 2022, I won the case from the Pasig RTC. After a few months, the Court of Appeals appealed to have the decision be overruled. I have been contacting my lawyer to provide me with the Certificate of Finality, however, I haven't received a response, and my calls are being ignored. What should I do now? Does this mean that I lost my case?

It appears that the court of appeals reversed the RTC decision. There is a limited period of 15 days to file an MR. It must have lapsed already. Atty Mario P Narag Jr

It would appear based on the limited facts that you had provided that the Court of Appeals had reversed the Pasig RTC, thus denying the Petition. As it also appears that you currently have an active attorney-client relationship with your lawyer, consider proceeding to his/her office personally to discuss what options, if any, are still available to you.
