Separation/Annulment

I'd like to be separated from my husband because I am not happy with our marriage anymore. We don't have children but he was okay with that since I have difficulty conceiving.. however, as the years passed by I could not find love and joy towards the person I married 9 years ago anymore. It felt as if our relationship had become toxic. For instance, when I discuss about certain stuff, he is always negative about it. He does not listen to my suggestions. If he likes to go out with friends, he would do it even if he comes home at 5 am in the morning. I'm feeling like carrying him with me in my load. Is what I've been feeling for a long time valid for separation?

Being unhappy, per se, is not a ground to dissolve a marriage. You may consider the option of filing a case with the Regional Trial Court for the declaration of nullity of your marriage based on Article 36 of the Family Code,  or Psychological Incapacity.  You may reach us for further inquiries via our website and email address.
