Hello. I have been married for 25 years to a Thai lady. A lawyer discovered that my wife sold the house to her sister. Because it was over 10 years ago, apparently I cannot take action. Another lawyer told me I can take action. One law firm told me they could only proceed on the basis of a divorce. I bought the house in order to have an asset to leave our children. Now it is probably debt and the sister would probably be able to leave it to anyone she so wishes assuming it is not just a huge debt. I want to take legal action against my wife and/or her sister. It was illegal to transfer property to someone within the life of the legal marriage as I understand that law. As I trusted my wife, I had no way of knowing that the transfer had been made. The 10-year expiry should not apply as they defrauded me. I can't seem to find anyone to represent me. Should I just write a book about my experience so that the world can discover what Thai law looks like? Perhaps that's the best bet
