Advocate Asad obtained his LL.B (Hon's) and LL.M from the Dhaka University Law Department.

He served Bangladesh Army, worked as Legal Counsel of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and at present is a full time legal practitioner. He also teaches law at American International University Bangladesh.
